Step 1 - Type in the amount to be translated in to the "Amount in Numbers" box.
Step 2 - click on the button marked "Convert to German".
Step 3 - The translation will be displayed in the "Amount in German words" box.
Step 4 - Now just copy this on to your cheque.  

Example:
you have an electric bill/invoice for 123 euros and 46 centimes (123.46)
type "123.46" in to the "Amount in Numbers" box
then click on the "Convert to German" button then
copy the translated amount "hundert dreiundzwanzig euros und sechsundvierzig centimes" on to the two lines of your cheque.

Just move your cursor over the cheque to get information on each part,
You would normally fill out the cheque in the order 1 to 6.

1) Full money amount in words on the top two lines.
    i.e.  cent vingt-trois euros et quarante-six centimes

4) Name of person or business you are paying cheque to.
    i.e. France Telecom

2) Enter the full Amount in numbers.
    i.e. 123.50

3) The town or village name where you are writing out the cheque.
    i.e. Bergerac

5) The date in  "day / month / year"  format only
     i.e. 28/07/2008

6) Always sign the cheque here below the date,
    NOTE: not all German cheques have a white signature box.
